We pride ourselves on our motto 'Everyday a new adventure' and strive to create a nurturing, inspiring environment where curiosity is celebrated, confidence grows, and every child is encouraged to discover their unique talents and love of learning.

We are a small community infant school in the heart of Alfreton and we pride ourselves on promoting a creative, wide and varied curriculum for all our children where achievement, in all its forms, is celebrated. We hope to send the children onto junior school, well equipped to continue their journey through education and life.   

Copthorne Community Infant School is a GOOD School as reported in our latest Ofsted report from our single day inspection March 2022.
